As above, so below ...

... as within, so without and so on and on in eternity, i.e. outside Time, Infinity outside Space etc.

A Stand in the Park in Hexham went well, they say. Today (Monday) the fascist, narcissistic, totally untrustworthy Prime Minister (UK) confirms the grateful, trusting people have a few more freedoms, like meeting outdoors (in groups of 6 max or 2 households), plus outdoor sports, including swimming, rugger without scrumming and other peculiar reasons. .. the highly trusted Public Health Expert, the shifty Whitty, asserts that outdoors is definitely the safest place ... previous advice to stay indoors now redundant it seems ... and so the game goes on, hypnotised citizens of a fascist state carry on obeying orders, or find loopholes to suit themselves.

Yesterday (Tuesday) a trip over to Hexham itself, with friend, ostensibly for shopping at Waitrose with its organic Cranks loaves, expanded by an open air market and interactions with sole traders and their brief stories ... free range eggs, cheese from the trader hailing from Halifax, sourcing good cheese around that area, including Todmorden; Geordie fishmonger for banter plus Arbroath Smokie, then round for warm scones and love from the young people adjusting their lives in community with Jesus offering guidance ... great suffering as often is the case, leading to better ways to lead lives ... next up, outside the Abbey, a cake stall and masked ladies outside, followed by the Rector, also masked, engaging in theological discussion for a while, without finding common ground ... he did remove the mask, however, which felt like progress in Easter Week, a Christian Festival based on Ishtar another story of rebirth without the Cross on which to hang ... that's Good Friday, of course, an easy opportunity for sceptics to mock believers in the One Religion (albeit with many variants) ... after Cranks bread and other goods it was home for late lunch and the arrival of a walking friend with a gift for the Library: Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake, a wonderful exploration of the lives of fungi, their impact on the world, especially when viewed under the influence of LSD, a mind expanding substance ... and so the day continued with more synchronicities locally ...

Today, with luck, you dear reader, are sharing a small part of the expanding world of an increasingly curious old man, yet to try LSD or even magic mushrooms, though they are not far away ... the second day of a mini heatwave ending later, before Easter weekend cools down ... a long day in shorts walking the Fells calls, before a return to Merlin the Magician, whose Dad, by the way, is Rupert, whose influence is clear, though not mentioned in the book (so far) ... thus consciousness expands, worlds change, many worlds theories step up as respectable options to explain that which is inexplicable ... clearly, Everett's equation from six decades ago, demanding an infinity of universes is still as crazy as before ... who knows?
