Being based at the Horton Inn meant further family meeting and greeting, this time at the farm where the two elder grandsons of the old blogger now live and work, with arable farming being the main income stream supplemented by free range eggs from hens.
It was great to reminisce on the good times shared over the years with the nephews, daughter in law and great niece.
Now we're planning day 6 dear readers as the Sun continues to shine so the seaside calls ... maybe Bournemouth or Swanage, let's see shall we!
