Extra early start, 6 a.m. .. two hours of pre-dawn walking before rain arrives, maybe 20 minutes off the path having missed an arrow and getting perilously close to rather large waves ... another hour to the first coffee and tortilla, second breakfast, since porridge was made at the Albergue around 5 a.m. early night and clock change confusing the issue ... another three hours plodding in rain, which desists before Baiona, the next coffee stop and rest for the legs ... about 30 k.m. done before lunch and a few more left in the legs before next bed is sought ... on to Ramallosa, target for today at around 40 km, but even after a late menu del dia, its still early to stop ... and skies clear for a while and Sun shows his face ... so, it's on to Vigo, though arriving as dusk arrives in such a big city, without a plan means first accommodation option is most gratefully accepted and turns out to be a motel, each room having en suite garage ... not to mention bath with plug, a special treat for feet and legs after their great effort ... maybe around 55 km and on the road over 12 hours in sunshine and showers ... mostly showers ...
Santiago is getting close now. .. 3 or 4 days perhaps ...
