Guillena, Seville, Tavira ...

Ruben heads off to Santiago, Mariana to Salamanca, Mattheus to Caceres. .. though all to Castilblanco and its closed Albergue today ... 18 km and nothing in between, next stage, Almaden, rather long to add on ... part-time pilgrim takes the 9 am bus back to Seville, declining the 4 hour walk on and risky bus return .... Tavira bus booked for 4.15 ... back to Portugal after Andalusian excursion ...

Seville central heaving with tourists ... large groups wandering about, standing by latest church or other building of interest while tour guide explains ... rentabikes enjoy cyclepath infrastructure, when not clogged with pedestrians and venture onto pavements too ...narrow streets,  souvenirs, an escape into an empty cafe, where the coffee is served in a polystyrene cup ... quite unusual, though in its defence the place is also selling ice cream and pastries to take away ... still €1.40 is steep, reflecting the first rule of price, what the market will bear, and if the market does not rely on return trade the price will be high ....

Escape across the river to Triana restores some sanity ... still touristy but less so and lunch reveals a vegetarian waiter to negotiate the €8 menu del dia. .. leaving the bus station easily reachable ...

Meanwhile, Ruben's verdict on his favourite Camino  opens another option ... the Primitivo across the mountains from Oviedo ... hmmm ...

Back in Tavira, the lost hour is recovered, dentist confirms midday appointment tomorrow, meaning Sunday for trip north and next Camino on Monday .... maybe ...
